TOKYO TRAMPS

Hailing from the Land of Rising Sun (Japan), TOKYO TRAMPS is a group of American roots music fanatics. The musical journey started when Satoru Nakagawa (guitar/vocal) left Japan to go to Louisiana searching for the spirit of Rock'n'Roll. Soon he found the key, Blues. Yukiko Fujii (bass/vocal) left a lucrative job in Tokyo and took a giant step following her heart to play American music. Then in 1999, TOKYO TRAMPS was born in Boston. Satoru took its name TRAMPS from his early idol, Bruce Springsteen's song, Born To Run - "Tramps like us, baby, we were born to run."..... Satoru says, “American music changed our lives. We are creating something very unique and exciting. We are making our dreams come true every time we play.” They are extensively performing in New England area and had released 7 original albums. The latest, "If I Die Tomorrow" is a unique mix of Jimi Hendrix guitar sound and New Orleans modern funk.

Irresponsibles

The Irresponsibles are an alternative, indie rock group from the South Shore.  Their sound is melodic, hook laden power pop in the tradition of groups like the Beatles to XTC.  They've had several albums released and enjoyed a successful run from the 90's into the early '00's.

After winning "Musician Magazines: Best Unsigned Band In The USA" contest, they grabbed the interest of guitar wizard Adrian Belew who is know for his iconic work with Frank Zappa, David Bowie, King Crimson, and Talking Heads, just to name a few.  Mr. Belew produced the band's album "When Pigs Fly" and brought the Irresponsibles as his support act on national tours.

While not a current full time band now, the members have all stayed in the music scene and have gone onto other musical endeavors and projects, separate and together.  They also have enjoyed regrouping to play occasional shows and special events over the years.
